FYI: Eye Color

AKC says that American Cocker Spaniels should have dark brown eyes, the darker the better. The only exception is with the Chocolates which can have Hazel colored eyes. Puppies like human babies can have blue-ish eyes at first, but then they turn brown.

Our Candy Puppies are 12 Days Old

Izzie and Shadow's 7 puppies are now 12 days old. We will name the litter after different types of candy because our little great niece Jordyn made the suggestion. We are still working on the names and will post them with more pictures next week. Here is a group photo and one each of the girls (4) and the boys (3).

M*A*S*H Puppies are born!

Penny and Shadow had 4 puppies (1 girl & 3 boys) on Sunday February 20th. Our Vet loves the TV show MASH, so we promised we would name a litter after the characters in the show.

The girl is black and named Houlihan. The back male is Hawkeye, the buff male is Winchester. The other buff male did not make it.

Shadow and Izzie are Proud Parents of 7 new puppies!

Izzie did well today. She had 7 pups. Some are a light buff, a couple are buff and one black like Shadow.
